This is a collection of additional missions in which new enemies who were absent in the main game will appear.
Contains more than 10 advanced missions for elite troopers. The enemies that the EDF has been waiting for are on their way. The difficulty level of these missions is fairly high, making them suitable only to those who have cleared the highest-level missions of the main game and are confident in their skills. New weapons are also included.

Attack of the Squares! Prologue:

In the year 2020, the Dark Legion suddenly arrived from outer space with six motherships, launching an attack on the Earth.

The motherships began to attack simultaneously.
As a result, the Earth was torn apart.

The fierce battle went on and on... until finally, the Brothers, led by the Commander, succeeded in destroying the Dark Legion. 

The Earth went back to normal, but that didn't mean the battle was over for the Commander and his team. They went back to fighting the invaders to keep the peace.

However, changes on Earth were slowly progressing.

In 2021, a state of emergency was declared in the UK.
Many never before seen enemies have appeared.

And once again, the Earth has been torn apart...

Aya, the lone female swordswoman from the zombie-infested world of Onee Chanbara, has entered the battle. She is wearing her trademark ten-gallon hat and bikini, and of course, she carries a Japanese sword.
Aya is a master swordswoman who usually fights off zombies, but it looks like she's going to give her all to help the Earth in its time of need. Her SP attack, the Ecstasy Combination, is quite powerful. When it works, it WORKS!

From the zombie-infested world of Onee Chanbara comes the wild swordswoman, Saki. She and Aya are actually sisters, and Saki is the younger of the two. She fights using a long Japanese sword, as well as with physical techniques.
Like Aya, Saki usually fights zombies, but she can't stand to see the Earth being torn apart. Saki's SP technique harnesses the power of her bloodline to temporarily increase her attack power, while also making her invincible. This is the abominable power of blood!

The invading Colonists from the world of Earth Defense Force 5 have made an emergency landing. Why would an enemy character be defending the Earth with EDF, you ask? We won't give away any spoilers, so you'll have to find out by playing through to the end of the game.
In any case, yesterday's enemies are today's friends. They look just like us humans, after all. Let's call a truce for now and fight together in harmony!

In any case, yesterday's enemies are today's friends. It's wonderful to be able to understand each other, even though we look nothing alike. How exciting to see two opponents join forces against a common enemy... right?!

From the Dream Club, a social club for adults where only those with pure hearts can join, comes a host girl who has been chosen to participate in battle.
Setsu, also known as the rambunctious "Setchan", the fierce tiger of the Dream Club, is on an urgent mission to handle the crisis on Earth.
With her ability to conjure bear-shaped power spots in order to amplify her fighting spirit, she also uses her SP move to sashay through the air on a floating stage and freeze invaders in their tracks with a flurry of snow.
Setchan's owner weapon is a portable railgun that requires a tame shot.
You may not know what I'm talking about, but this is the ultimate in pure power.

From the Dream Club, a social club for adults where only those with pure hearts can join, comes a host girl who has been chosen to participate in battle.
The coldest girl in Dream Club, Mian, is forced to go on a mission to save the Earth. Her abilities include an automatic laser turret and her SP technique is a bombardment of meteors, so she seems to be more than capable of protecting herself.
Her weapon of choice is the laser cannon, a superweapon from the world of EDF: IR.
It's an insane weapon that gradually increases in power through continuous irradiation, and at maximum output, it becomes incredibly destructive. This is what pure power looks like!

From the Dream Club, a social club for adults where only those with pure hearts can join, comes a host girl who has been chosen to participate in battle.
For some reason, Airi, an auto-autonomous android working at the Dream Club, seems to have decided to put her skills to use during the crisis on Earth.
Even though she's an android, Airi has all the functions of a human. She was supposed to be a pure-hearted girl (AI?) who didn't emit beams from her eyes, but the EDF's thirst for fuel led to her magical modification. She has grown into a reliable member of the team, able to fly through the air with her abilities and drop countless needles from the sky using her SP technique.
Airi's energy source is a manganese battery, which is very economical, but her owner weapons are a large automatic shotgun and a reflector shield, a manly set. This is what pure power looks like!

There was once a soldier who fought bravely to protect the Earth from invaders and lost. With half of his body covered in a strong acid, all he left behind were his last words. To whom were those words directed? Family? A friend? A lover? No, it should have been to the soldiers who entrusted the fate of the Earth to him.
But that is a story from a round Earth, in some other time and space. On this square Earth, he had mechanized most of his body with the latest technology and returned to the battlefield... this time, armed with an acid gun.
