Clouded Leopard Entertainment Inc. (CEO: Yuen-Yuen Chen) is pleased to announce the upcoming release of Ark of Charon, co-published with SUNSOFT (Sun Electronics Co., Ltd., CEO: Ryusuke Utsumi) for Steam®, with subtitles in English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, Thai, and Japanese. The full version (Version 1.0.0) will be available in the Asian region starting Thursday, November 7, 2024.
Alongside the official release, a major update to Version 1.0.0 will introduce various new features and improvements. Stay tuned and get ready to enjoy the enhanced experience!

■About Ark of Charon
Ark of Charon is a fresh blend of colony simulation and tower defense, where players guide a world tree sapling—towering like a giant beast—on its journey to reach its nursery bed. As the tree’s caretaker, players command familiars to arm the sapling like a mobile fortress, defending it as it travels through challenging terrain.
After concluding Early Access and implementing player feedback, we’re excited to announce the release of the full version (Version 1.0.0) on Thursday, November 7, 2024.

New Content for the Later Stages of the Journey
With the full release, players can explore even deeper into the world—territories previously inaccessible in Normal Mode during Early Access. Gather new resources, face formidable foes, and lead the world tree sapling to its nursery bed, where new life awaits.
What lies at the end of this journey…?
A New, “Forbidden” Energy…?
The “World Tree Extractor” device has been introduced to harvest a unique energy source. Alongside it, several related devices allow you to draw power from the world tree sapling and repurpose it as fuel for new weaponry. However, use of this device will gradually weaken the world tree.
Enhanced Tower Defense
New weapons, including the “World Tree Extractor” and “Wall-mounted Weapons,” as well as new enemy types, enrich the game’s tower defense mechanics. This added depth elevates the strategic combat experience—a central feature of Ark of Charon.

The official release presents refined visuals and audio, optimized for a richer experience. Detailed update information will be provided in the patch notes, set to be posted on Steam® News at launch.
